This is one of the best saws on the market for the small or large shop. It features a 5" round and 5" x 6" rectangular capacity. But what really sets this apart from other saws of this size is the head swivel giving a maximum angle of cut of 60deg! Remember how much trouble it is to change a vise backing jaw only to get a 45deg cut? Not with this guy. The easy-to-adjust head has stops in all the right places. And because the vise backing jaw is rigid on this saw it is taller, giving it the ability to support the workpiece better. And of course, the machine comes with all the features you'd expect from Grizzly hydraulic down feed control, easy access wheels for quick blade changes and the right blade speeds to do the job.

I DID EXTENSIVE SHOPPING BEFORE CHOOSING THE GRIZZLY.IT IS MADE IN CHINA.IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A "MADE IN THE USA" SAW THE PRICE WILL JUMP UP TO OVER $2000.00. FOR HANDYMAN USE OR FARM USETHIS SAW WILL BE OK. EVERY ONE IN THIS PRICE RANGE WILL BE FORIEGN MADE.ACTUALLY EVERY BRAND I LOOKED AT, FROM CRAFTSMAN TO JET TO HARBOR FREIGHT, LOOKS LIKE THE SAME EXACT MODEL.THE GRIZZLY WAS EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND THE QUALITY IS DECENT.THE JAWS WILL HOLD 6 INCH MATERIAL AND THE HYDRAULIC ASSISTIS A NICE FEATURE.THE CUTS ARE CRISP AND PRETTY ACCURATE.IT HAS WHEELS, BUT IS NOT VERY MOBILE
Overall this is a very good unit. If a person uses the proper blade,speed,feed this machine does a great job. There was a problem with the packaging of the panals for the base.They were in plastic bags and in shipping some minor damage to paint was present. Also when the base panals were painted none of the tapped holes were protected from paint. Very good results, one thing I wish it had is a coolant pan and return to the pump. Also came pre-wired for 110 volts can be changed to 220 single phase.
